This opportunity at Bank of Khyber is tailored for professionals with a retail banking background who are ready to take ownership of a high-visibility position. As Incharge Booth at the Jalozai Economic Zone, you’ll be steering front-line operations in a growing economic hub. It’s a post that demands a mix of customer interaction, leadership, and operational control—perfect for someone who’s previously worked in a branch role and is now ready to manage things a bit more independently.
If you’ve been in a Branch Manager or a similar position and want to take on a role that lets you work closer with the business community while still handling retail operations, this could be an excellent step forward.
So, what does “Incharge Booth” really mean on a daily basis?
You’re essentially running a mini-branch, and that includes everything from client onboarding and deposits to managing basic operations and keeping customer service sharp. You’re not just overseeing transactions—you’ll also be expected to grow the customer base and promote the Bank’s liability products (especially deposits like CASA), while maintaining compliance and ensuring the booth runs efficiently.
You’ll manage staff, guide them on service delivery standards, and ensure the booth aligns with both the Bank’s internal policies and the expectations of clients, many of whom are likely to be business owners or traders based within the Jalozai Economic Zone.
This isn’t a desk-bound job either—you’ll be interacting directly with walk-in customers, small businesses, and local stakeholders. You’ll also monitor the booth’s performance and troubleshoot issues ranging from system downtime to customer complaints.
Handle daily customer-facing operations, including account openings, deposits, and service-related queries
Focus on achieving deposit growth targets and bring in new-to-bank (NTB) clients
Actively engage with businesses in the zone to introduce BOK’s retail offerings
Ensure smooth cash management and transaction processing
Lead a small team (if applicable) and help maintain a disciplined, service-oriented work culture
Monitor booth-level KPIs and share regular reports with management
Ensure the booth adheres to all SBP regulations and internal compliance guidelines
Keep a close eye on client satisfaction—resolve complaints promptly and make improvements when gaps are identified
Manage operational risks and report any discrepancies in real-time
Maintain inventory of forms, cheque books, and day-to-day supplies
Act as the face of Bank of Khyber within the Jalozai Economic Zone—your conduct matters
Develop referral networks for cross-selling BOK products (e.g., personal loans, credit cards, Islamic banking solutions)
We’re looking for someone who’s already got a couple of solid years in the retail banking space, ideally with hands-on exposure to managing deposits and customer portfolios. If you’ve worked as a Branch Manager, or even as a Team Lead in a branch, you’re already halfway there.
Minimum Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree from an HEC-recognized or foreign university. Candidates with a Master’s degree will be prioritized
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in Retail Business (Liabilities) within the banking industry
Bonus Points: Prior experience as a Branch Manager or in a booth-based operational setup
Working in the Jalozai Economic Zone means you’ll be at the intersection of commerce, industry, and banking. Your clients will be diverse and may include traders, manufacturers, and logistics operators—many of whom rely on banking services that are both efficient and personalized.
And because this is a booth model rather than a full branch, you’ll wear multiple hats. One minute you’re assisting a customer with a deposit slip, and the next you might be preparing a business case for onboarding a new corporate client.
So if you enjoy variety, autonomy, and being seen as the go-to person in a banking setup, this is your scene.
