We are seeking passionate and dedicated PYP Homeroom Teachers to join our vibrant school community on Raiwind Road, Lahore. In this role, you’ll be a key part of our Primary Years Programme (PYP), which is designed to inspire curiosity, foster critical thinking, and develop internationally minded young learners.
We are committed to nurturing a learning environment where every child is recognized as unique. Our ideal candidate embodies the IB Learner Profile—principled, caring, open-minded, reflective, and enthusiastic about lifelong learning. If you’re looking for an opportunity to be more than just a textbook teacher—and want to help students discover their strengths as thinkers, collaborators, and caring citizens—this is the place for you.
Create a classroom atmosphere that is safe, welcoming, and inclusive for students from all backgrounds.
Establish positive, respectful relationships with students, families, and colleagues. Empathy, patience, and good humor play a big part in your daily interactions.
Model ethical conduct and professional integrity in every aspect of your work.
Plan and lead daily classes using inquiry-based learning and the IB PYP Framework. Each unit you teach encourages students to ask questions, seek answers, and make real-life connections.
Develop lessons that span multiple subjects—language, maths, science, social studies, arts, and physical education—through transdisciplinary units.
Differentiate lessons to support the needs of students with diverse learning styles, abilities, and language backgrounds.
Encourage students to have a voice in how and what they learn, giving them ownership of their educational journey.
Integrate creative activities and use hands-on, minds-on teaching strategies to keep all students engaged.
Use formative (ongoing) and summative (final) assessments to track student progress and make informed decisions about instruction.
Maintain accurate records, such as portfolios, rubrics, anecdotal notes, and learning reflections, to document each child’s growth.
Regularly communicate student progress to parents and guardians through meetings, progress reports, and digital updates.
Support students in setting learning goals, reflecting on achievements, and taking part in self- and peer-assessment.
Collaborate on lesson/unit planning, curriculum alignment, and weekly overviews with your team and the PYP Coordinator.
Participate in curriculum reviews, internal assessments, and moderation meetings to ensure our teaching is consistent and meets high standards.
Take part in professional development opportunities and be open to feedback—both giving and receiving—to continuously improve your practice.
Share innovative ideas, resources, and experiences with other staff to strengthen our collective expertise.
Contribute to special projects like the PYP Exhibition for upper primary students, if assigned.
Attend staff meetings, parent conferences, and school events as required.
Foster a positive, collaborative school spirit by participating in school-wide initiatives and community service projects.
Help students build social and emotional skills, promoting kindness, respect, and global citizenship every day.
Teamwork and collaboration—comfort working closely with colleagues and supporting others.
Strong communication skills—listening, speaking, and writing clearly for both students and adults.
Time management and organizational skills—handling planning, teaching, record-keeping, and parent communication smoothly.
Adaptability—a willingness to learn new approaches, adjust lessons, and embrace change proactively.
Confident in using technology for teaching, communicating with families, and record-keeping.
Open to digital portfolios, online assessments, and school information systems.
Individuals who love teaching young children and see themselves as a positive influence in their lives.
Those who believe learning is a partnership between the teacher, student, and family.
Educators open to reflective practice, who view feedback as a chance to grow.
Applicants with at least a Bachelor’s degree, preferably with one year of teaching experience (PYP/IB background is a plus).
Teachers who value diversity and foster empathy and understanding in the classroom.
A collaborative and supportive environment with a team of dedicated educators.
Opportunities for ongoing professional development and training (especially in IB and PYP methodologies).
Participation in school activities, events, and community-building programs.
Growth opportunities as part of an expanding educational institution focused on quality and innovation.
Competitive salary and benefits.
