Assistant Manager – Internal Audit at HBL Full Time

• Work with the Head of Internal Audit and Audit Managers to implement audit plans, and make sure the quality of day-to-day audit work goes smoothly.
• Evaluate the risk in departments, walkthrough processes and look at the day to day application of policies and procedures.
• Deliver audit testing, evaluate the sample, and prepare your working papers and documentation that will stand the test of scrutiny during an Audit Committee meeting.
• Visit units of business, such as the HBL AML Office, to ensure compliance with the anti-money laundering requirements.
• Bring practical recommendations to management so they can help fix gaps related to operations or controls.
• Follow through with whether recommendations are being implemented, and don’t just leave it on a piece of paper.
• Stay on top of new SECP regulations, SBP directives, and IFRS changes that pertain to the banking sector.

Professional Experience & Education:

a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a similar field.

Three to five years of relevant work experience in compliance, risk, or internal audit (Big Four experience can be a big plus).

Qualities & Attributes:
