We are currently hiring First Officers for our Airbus A320 fleet. The openings are mainly based in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad, so if you’re in one of those cities or flexible to move, that works fine. The role itself is about what you would expect from a professional pilot position — flying according to schedules, following approved flight plans, and above all making sure safety comes first. But there’s more to it than just handling the aircraft. You’re also stepping into a role where teamwork, communication, and keeping a cool head under pressure really matter.
Now, let’s talk about what we’re looking for. You should already have logged at least 750 hours on the A320 family. That’s the minimum. A CPL is required, and if you’ve got an ATPL, even better. Current licenses, valid class 1 medical, and a valid IR are all must-haves. Without these, unfortunately, you won’t make it past the first screening. On top of that, you’ll need an English Language Proficiency certificate at level 4 or higher. Communication in this job isn’t just about chatting with your colleagues — it’s literally life-and-death when you’re talking to ATC or coordinating in the cockpit.
Your day-to-day responsibilities are basically what you’d expect: assist the Captain, fly the aircraft according to plan, manage the cockpit duties, and make sure the entire flight is carried out within company procedures and CAA regulations. Sounds simple when written down, but as you probably know, things in the air don’t always go exactly as planned. There might be delays, weather changes, or technical issues. That’s when you’re expected to remain calm, work as a team, and follow the steps that keep everything under control. Emergencies are rare, but when they happen, training kicks in — so you must be fully prepared for that.
Speaking of training, you’ll need to be comfortable with safety drills and emergency procedures. Having a formal qualification in that area is great, but even if you don’t, experience and proven knowledge are what count. Extra exposure to crew resource management, airport security procedures, and IATA regulations will also help your application. These aren’t strictly mandatory, but they do show you’re someone who goes the extra mile.
We’re also looking for pilots who are not only technically sharp but also adaptable. Flying for a low-cost airline environment is a plus, because it means you’re already used to working in a setup where efficiency and smart decision-making are part of the culture. We’re a team that values practicality. That doesn’t mean cutting corners — safety always comes first — but it does mean we appreciate pilots who know how to get things done without overcomplicating.
On the skills side, beyond flying, you’ll need to be comfortable with tech. That includes a solid grip on aircraft systems, obviously, but also the basic digital tools like Microsoft Office, internet use, and writing up reports. You’d be surprised how often pilots are asked to prepare notes, feedback, or simple presentations. So yes, clear written English is part of the job too. And while we’re on languages, English fluency is essential, but if you happen to speak other languages, that’s a bonus. It always helps when dealing with a diverse crew or occasionally with passengers.
Health and fitness are another part of the requirements. You need to be “fit to fly,” meaning no serious medical issues or chronic conditions. Flying is demanding, both physically and mentally, and we rely on pilots to be in top shape for the job.
Now, a word about attitude. This isn’t a job where you can just show up, do the technical part, and go home. Flying is teamwork. We’re looking for people who respect the chain of command but also know how to contribute to a healthy, cooperative environment. The best First Officers are those who support their Captain, share information clearly, and also look out for the cabin crew and passengers. The cockpit can be stressful, but the right personality can make it a place where things run smoothly even in tricky situations.
So, in short: if you’ve got the hours on A320, hold the valid licenses and medicals, can demonstrate strong English skills, and are willing to be part of a growing team that values professionalism and teamwork, we’d love to hear from you. It’s not just about flying from point A to B — it’s about being part of an airline that’s building a strong reputation and wants pilots who are both skilled and reliable.
If this sounds like you, consider applying. Bring your licenses, your logged hours, and most importantly the mindset of a professional who knows the real priorities: safety first, efficiency next, and passenger comfort right alongside. That’s the order we live by every single day.
