Physics Lecturer Full Time

Job Purpose

As a Lecturer in Physics, you’ll be delivering live, online Physics instruction to students, supporting their academic development and understanding of key topics. This position requires strong subject knowledge, excellent communication, effective technology use, and a passion for teaching.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver real-time, interactive Physics classes using a digital whiteboard and S Pen/tablet or laptop.

• Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and online assessments in line with the given syllabus.

• Clearly explain complex Physics concepts, demonstrating solutions and diagrams on screen.

• Adjust teaching style and materials to cater to the needs of diverse learners.

• Track and record class participation and attendance reliably.

• Ensure all scheduled classes begin and end punctually.

• Evaluate each student through monthly feedback forms; bonuses apply for evaluations of 90%+.

• Provide prompt, constructive feedback on student work.

• Collaborate with colleagues in department meetings and share best practices for online teaching.

• Participate in professional development opportunities and keep up with online education trends.

• Submit reports and respond to performance appraisals professionally.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Physics or a relevant field from a recognized institution.

• Applicants with a Master’s degree is preferred.

• At least 3 years of teaching experience (classroom or online), with preference for those with online teaching credentials.

• Candidates currently engaged in teaching at colleges or universities will be prioritized.

• Strong proficiency in Physics and proven ability to teach the subject at the required level.

Skills and Equipment

• Mandatory: Access to a tablet or laptop with S Pen (or equivalent stylus) for onscreen writing and real-time lesson delivery.

• High-speed, stable internet connection capable of supporting uninterrupted virtual classes.

• Excellent verbal and written communication.
