We’re looking for a Manager – Quality Assurance to join Fly Jinnah in Karachi. This is a senior role that carries real responsibility, as you’ll be formally nominated as “Post Holder” and approved by the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA). In simple words, you’ll be the person leading our Quality Assurance and Compliance Monitoring functions across the airline.
It’s not just about checking boxes. The job is about making sure every part of the operation — engineering and maintenance, flight ops, ground handling, and crew training — runs safely and in full compliance with local and international aviation standards. You’ll be the one keeping a close eye, asking the right questions, and verifying that we are living up to both regulatory requirements and our own company policies.
Day to day, you’ll be leading the QA team, running audits, and advising senior leadership when something needs to change. It’s a mix of oversight and hands-on involvement. One week you might be reviewing documentation against PCAA requirements, the next you could be supporting a department head to close out audit findings or preparing reports for the CEO.
Some of the key things you’ll take care of:
Overseeing our Quality Assurance Program and making sure it’s actually working in practice, not just on paper.
Planning and executing the annual audit and inspection schedule. That means spotting gaps, flagging issues, and making sure corrective actions are not only taken but also effective.
Keeping records straight — documentation needs to be clean, updated, and aligned with both PCAA rules and our own manuals.
Acting as a key advisor to the Accountable Manager on all quality and compliance matters.
Building and supporting training programs to keep staff sharp on QA and compliance topics.
Coordinating with regulators, manufacturers, and other external parties whenever needed.
It’s a role where you’ll need to balance authority with support — people should respect your audits, but they should also see you as a partner helping them improve.
This isn’t a starter role. We’re looking for someone who already knows the airline environment inside and out. Ideally, you’ll bring:
At least 8 years of aviation experience, with 4 of those in a QA or compliance leadership role. If you’ve worked with a low-cost carrier before, that’s a bonus.
Strong knowledge of PCAA rules, ICAO standards, and all the technical and regulatory requirements that cover flight operations, crew training, ground ops, and maintenance.
A background in aircraft engineering, auditing, or operations. You might have an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence (CAR66- AMEL), a bachelor’s in aeronautical or aviation studies, or an ATPL with solid flying hours. Equivalent qualifications paired with the right experience will also be considered.
Certificates in auditing or compliance (ISO, IOSA, Lead Assessor) are highly desirable. Project management experience is also a plus.
Confidence with systems and tools — from Microsoft Office to records control systems.
Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written. Urdu or any additional languages are always a plus.
Just as important, we’re looking for someone who can lead people. You’ll be managing relationships across departments and making sure teams are aligned without losing sight of detail. You’ll need a mix of technical expertise, clear thinking, and strong interpersonal skills.
Quality assurance in an airline is not an afterthought — it’s central to how we keep passengers safe and the business running. As QA Manager, you’ll be directly influencing how Fly Jinnah operates every single day. The CEO will rely on you to ensure that standards are being met, audits are carried out, and corrective measures actually stick.
It’s a role for someone who thrives on responsibility and doesn’t shy away from tough calls. If you’re the type of professional who sees patterns in data, who can spot a gap before it turns into a problem, and who knows how to bring people on board with solutions, this job will give you the platform to make a real impact.
If you have the technical background, regulatory knowledge, and leadership skills to own this space, we’d like to hear from you. This is your chance to take on a senior post with full accountability, helping to shape how Fly Jinnah delivers safe, compliant, and efficient operations.
