The kind of work you’ll do

On any given day, you might be:

• Writing APIs that make sure the front end connects seamlessly to the backend.

• Tweaking performance so our systems run faster and can scale when needed.

• Talking with designers and front-end developers to make sure everything lines up.

• Setting up secure and reliable storage for data.

• Debugging an issue one day and then documenting clean, maintainable code the next.

It’s a mix of problem-solving, collaboration, and forward-thinking. You won’t just be told what to build—you’ll get space to figure out better ways of doing things.

What we’d like you to bring

We don’t have a massive checklist, but a few essentials will help:

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar background (or equivalent experience).

• Around 3–5 years of backend development.

• Comfort with Node.js and PHP, and solid experience with Laravel.

• Familiarity with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

• Understanding of APIs, microservices, and general web frameworks.

• Some exposure to AWS, Azure, or Docker would be great.

• And of course, Git for version control.

If you’ve also touched ReactJS, CI/CD pipelines, or automated testing, that’s definitely a bonus.
